Description
This beautiful painting of Treasure Island was finished in 2007 by Greg Hildebrandt for a cover for Marvel Comics. Marvel is venturing into the world of Classics in Comics.Greg was very excited to be asked if he would do the six covers for the Treasure Island series. It has been many years since Greg painted any Classic Illustrations-not since the 1980's! Greg absolutely loves the Classics.
His favorite line from Disney’s Treasure Island movie is when Long John Silver says “What fool cut up a bible!”
This is cover #4 in the series. The first book was published in June 2007 by Marvel.
