The alert had gone out just before dusk after something tripped the sensors just off-shore. Lioness was on site in short order, and the giant and the beast had a brief exchange of blows before the monster retreated back into the water. Sensors said it was still there, prowling the coast, waiting. She'd stay through the night, ready to finish the job.
